Jewelry Care

Plated pieces consist of a layer of gold or silver bonded to brass or 925 sterling silver.

It's perfectly normal for the plating to fade over time. The rate at which this happens can vary based on several factors, including your skin's acidity, how frequently you wear the item, and the activities you engage in while wearing it.

High-quality gold-plated brass jewelry can last a long time with proper care. To maintain its longevity, keep it away from salt, water, sweat, high humidity, and chemicals found in cleaners or perfumes.

Sterling silver or brass may tarnish when exposed to oxygen or sulfur. Gold-plated silver jewelry will not turn black or green; however, the gold will gradually fade, revealing the silver beneath.

When you're not wearing your jewelry, it's best to store it in a zip-lock plastic bag, an airtight pouch, or a jewelry box.
For cleaning, use a jewelry polishing cloth if necessary.

Please avoid wearing it in the shower, hot tub, chlorine pool, spa, or at the beach.
